Texas Sheet Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup margarine
1 cup water
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 cup flour
2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
Directions
In 2 quart double boiler, melt margarine.
Stir in water and cocoa, heat thoroughly.
Using an electric hand mixer, gradually add flour, sugar and salt.
Beat in eggs, sour cream and baking soda.
Pour into an ungreased 11 1/2 x 17 1/4 x 1 inch cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated 350° oven for 20-22 minutes, being sure not to overbake.
Remove from oven and at once pour on frosting.
