| 1 lb. cooked roast beef | ||
| Ground beef | 2 1/2 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 3 8-oz. cans tomato sauce | ||
| Prepared mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chili powder | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 tsp. crushed hot red pepper | ||
| Red kidney beans | 1 16 Ounce | |
Directions
Slice the roast into thin slivers.
Brown the ground beef, onion and garlic lightly in frying pan, then pour off the drippings.
Combine the tomato sauce, mustard, vinegar, chili powder, salt, pepper and red pepper and mix well.
Add the tomato sauce mixture and beans to ground beef, then cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
Add the roast beef to ground beef mixture and cook for 5 minutes longer or until heated through.
Serve on hard rolls.
