Pico de Gallo & Salsa Recipe Video

Ingredients

For the salsa
 Onion1 Medium, cut into chunk pieces
 Tomatoes3 Medium (Whole tomatoes are used)
 Jalapeno1 Medium (Whole Jalapeno used)
 Lime1 Medium, juiced
 Cilantro1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Salt & pepper To Taste
For the pico de gallo
 Tomatoes3 Medium, seeded and diced
 Red onion1⁄2 Medium, diced
 Jalapeno1 Medium, diced
 Lime1 Medium, juiced
 Cilantro1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped

Directions

MAKING
1. Take a cast iron skillet and put the onion, tomato and jalapeno in it and roast it on high. Once cooled put them into a food processor and blend it well. Add the juice of 1 lime and cilantro. Blend it again till the salsa paste is achieved.
2. Season with salt and pepper. The salsa is ready to serve.
3. For the Pico De Gallo, in a large mixing bowl add the diced tomatoes, diced onion and jalapeno. Add the juice of 1 lime and cilantro. Mix all the ingredients well and add salt and pepper to taste and the Pico De Gallo is ready to serve.

SERVING
4. Serve with tortillas and vegetables.
