 Sugar1 Tablespoon
 Onion1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Instant minced onion1 Teaspoon
 1 clove garlic, minced, or 1/8 teaspoon instant minced garlic
 Ginger1/4 Teaspoon
 Soy sauce1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sirloin steak1/2 Pound, cut into thin strips
 Water chestnuts1 Can (10oz), drained

Directions

In small bowl, combine sugar, onion, garlic, ginger and soy sauce; mix well.
Add steak strips, tossing to coat with soy mixture.
Let stand 15 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain steak strips and wrap each around water chestnut (cut larger water chestnuts in half), fastening with toothpicks.
Place on plate or shallow baking dish.
Cook uncovered 3 minutes or until steak is desired doneness.
