Teriyaki Turkey Patties Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water chestnuts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green onions | 2 , sliced | |
| Teriyaki sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 pound ground raw turkey | ||
| Orange marmalade | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sesame seed | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Preheat the broiler.
In a medium mixing bowl combine the beaten egg, bread crumbs, water chestnuts, green onions, and teriyaki sauce.
Add ground turkey.
Mix well.
Shape meat mixture into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
Place patties on a lightly greased unheated rack in a broiler pan.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 5 minutes.
Turn patties and broil for 4 to 5 minutes more or till no longer pink.
Meanwhile, for sauce, in a saucepan stir together orange marmalade, teriyaki sauce, and sesame seed.
Cook over medium-low heat just till marmalade is melted, stirring occasionally.
Serve patties with sauce.
