Ingredients

 Lean ground beef1 Pound
 3/4 lb. mild bulk sausage or ground pork
 Cooked brown rice1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion powder1 Teaspoon
 1/2 cup chopped seeded green pepper
 Soy sauce3 Teaspoon, divided
 Lemon juice2 Teaspoon
 Honey1 Teaspoon
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 Ground ginger1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

Mix all ingredients except the honey and 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce together thoroughly.
Shape into a loaf.
Put into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350° about 1 hour, or until pork is cooked.
When loaf is half cooked, blend the 1 tablespoon soy sauce with honey.
Spoon over loaf.
Use a meat thermometer or cook until juices run clear and meat has lost its pinkness.
