1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
 
1/2. Cup Pineapple Juice
 
1/3 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
 
1/3 Cup Salad Oil
 
1 Clove Fresh Garlic, minced
 
For Kabobs:
 
1 Lb. Sirloin Steak, cubed
 
1 Large Yellow Onion, cut into bite-size pieces
 
1 Green Bell Pepper, cut into bite-size pieces
 
1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks (canned in own juice)
 
6 Fresh, Large Mushrooms, halved
 
6 to 8 Wooden Skewers (available at supermarket in package of 100)
 
Hibachi or Barbecue Charcoal

Directions

Early Afternoon: Mix ingredients for teri-yaki marinade in shallow bowl or cake pan.
Wash vegetables and cut into bite-size pieces.
Marinate steak chunks and vegetables in teriyaki 2 to 4 hours, covered in refrigerator.
Later: Skewer steak chunks, pineapple chunks, and vegetables on skewers while waiting for coals to get hot in hibachi or barbecue.
Place skewers close above coals and turn over when steak is well browned, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Cook on other side until done.
