Teriyaki Chicken Wings Recipe
This recipe of teriyaki chicken wings was picked up by me from a gourmet magazine, I twisted it a little bit to meet my taste here I am, sharing my version with you. It is an ideal main dish. It is always prepared with chicken as the key ingredient. I am sure this super delicious japanese teriyaki chicken wings is gonna bowl you over with its addictive flavor and texture! Just try it once, and you'll no doubt want to prepare this for your friends again.
Ingredients
2 1/2-3 lbs. chicken wings
1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
2 Tbsp. catsup
1/2 cup water
2 tsp. cornstarch
Directions
Cut wings at joints (save tips for chicken soup).
Blend Teriyaki and catsup; marinate wings, chilled, 3-4 hours, stirring once or twice.
In glass measuring cup pour off marinade; combine with water and cornstarch.
Microwave (high) 2-3 minutes stirring every minute until boiling.
On glass plate arrange chicken "spoke fashion." Baste with sauce.
Microwave (high), covered, 4-5 minutes.
Rotate dish 1/4 turn and baste.
Microwave (high), uncovered, 4-5 minutes.
Broil if desired.
