Teriyaki Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/4 pounds beef sirloin cut 3/4 inch thick | ||
| Pineapple chunks | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 3/4 cup pineapple syrup from drained fruit | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Powdered ginger | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Stuffed olives | 20 | |
Directions
You will need 20 metal or wooden skewers 4 inches long.
Cut beef in cubes about same size as pineapple chunks.
Combine pineapple syrup, soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
Pour over meat, and marinate 1 hour at room temperature.
Alternate beef and pineapple on skewers, ending with 1 stuffed olive.
Broil 3 inches from heat, turning once; allow about 10 minutes cooking time altogether.
Serve hot.
