Ingredients

 2 to 4 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate or 6 to 8 Tbs. Cocoa
 Butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Hot Chocolate Sauce:)
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon (Hot Chocolate Sauce:)
 Sugar3 Cup (16 tbs) (Hot Chocolate Sauce:)
 Evaporated milk large can1 (Hot Chocolate Sauce:)
 Light corn syrup1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:)
 Light brown sugar3 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:)
 Salt1/8 Teaspoon (Butterscotch Sauce:)
 Butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:)
 Evaporated milk1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:)

Directions

Hot Chocolate Sauce: Melt chocolate, butter and salt together in a double boiler.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time while stirring often after each addition.
Add the evaporated milk a little at a time & continue stirring until well mixed.
Butterscotch Sauce: Combine all ingredients except the milk.
Boil to consistency of heavy syrup.
Cool.
Add milk.
Keep refrigerated.
Heat in jar in a pan of hot water.
