Temptation Turtle Sundae Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 to 4 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate or 6 to 8 Tbs. Cocoa | ||
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Hot Chocolate Sauce:) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (Hot Chocolate Sauce:) | |
| Sugar | 3 Cup (16 tbs) (Hot Chocolate Sauce:) | |
| Evaporated milk large can | 1 (Hot Chocolate Sauce:) | |
| Light corn syrup | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:) | |
| Light brown sugar | 3 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:) | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon (Butterscotch Sauce:) | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:) | |
| Evaporated milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (Butterscotch Sauce:) | |
Directions
Hot Chocolate Sauce: Melt chocolate, butter and salt together in a double boiler.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time while stirring often after each addition.
Add the evaporated milk a little at a time & continue stirring until well mixed.
Butterscotch Sauce: Combine all ingredients except the milk.
Boil to consistency of heavy syrup.
Cool.
Add milk.
Keep refrigerated.
Heat in jar in a pan of hot water.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time while stirring often after each addition.
