Tea Garden Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 package orange flavored gelatin | ||
| 1 cup medium strength boiling tea | ||
| 1 can mandarin oranges, drained, liquid reserved | ||
| 1 can crushed pineapple, drained, liquid reserved | ||
| 3/4 cup combined fruit liquids | ||
| Water chestnuts | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Mayonnaise | ||
| Whipping cream, whipped | ||
| Ground mace | ||
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling tea.
Add combined fruit liquids to gelatin mixture.
Stir and cool until mixture thickens slightly.
Add oranges, pineapple, and water chestnuts.
Spoon into a 6 cup mold and chill until firm.
For the topping combine equal parts mayonnaise and whipped cream, and add a dash of mace.
