Flour
 
Salt and pepper to taste
 
3 lb. lamb stew meat
 
1 c. sliced carrots
 
1 c. sliced celery
 
1 c. chopped onions
 
2 c. string beans
 
4 c. cubed potatoes
 
2 tbsp. dried celery leaves
 
1/2 tsp. thyme
 
1/2 tsp. Marjoram

Directions

"Combine flour and salt and pepper.
Dredge lamb in seasoned flour; brown in 3 tablespoons hot fat in large skillet.
Add water to cover; simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Add all remaining ingredients; sim- mer for 30 minutes longer.
Blend 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water; add to lamb mixture gradually, stirring constantly, until thickened."
