Tasty Fish Patties Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 2 | |
| 1 lb. fillet of salmon | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cucumber | 1/2 Pound | |
| Sweet red pepper | 1/2 To taste | |
| 1/4 lb. whole-grain bread crumbs | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Generous pinch of freshly ground black pepper | ||
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sea salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Basil | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Dill | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Peel and chop the onions.
Wash, pat dry and cut the fish into large pieces.
Chop the fish and the onion in a food processor or chop with a knife and sprinkle with the lemon juice.
Peel and finely dice the cucumber.
Remove the stem end, seeds and white membrane from the pepper; wash, dry and finely dice.
Knead the pepper and cucumber with the crumbs into the fish with the eggs, pepper, curry, salt and herbs.
With moist hands form 8 patties from the mixture.
Heat the oil in a cast-iron pan and fry the patties 6 to 8 minutes over medium heat until crisp and brown.
Add oil as needed.
This dish goes well with a tomato salad with onion rings and basil leaves.
