Tartar Sauce Recipe

I first tried Tartar Sauce at my South American neighbors party. The taste completely bowled me over; asked them for the recipe and since then it has become a staple Sunday item in my household . Make the South American Tartar Sauce as a Side Dish and it will make your guests come back at your door step. This Tartar Sauce is too good to be missed.

Ingredients

 
Yolks of 2 hard boiled eggs
 
1 tablespoon vinegar
 
1/2 cup salad oil
 
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
 
1 teaspoon French mustard
 
Dash of red pepper
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1 tablespoon minced onion
 
1 tablespoon minced sweet pickles

Directions

Stir the egg yolks in a bowl until smooth, drop the oil in slowly, and stir in the mustard and salt.
Add the pickles and vinegar.
Stir in the mayonnaise and add the red pepper and minced onion.
Stir the mixture well and serve in individual cups with fish.
