Tart Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic pepper oil - 4-6 tablespoons | ||
| Ginger - 1-2 slices, chopped to make 2 tablespoons | ||
| Onions | 2 | |
| Chili powder | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm) | |
| Beer | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Tomato juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon or lime - 1, for juice | ||
| Paprika | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Dijon Mustard | 5 Tablespoon | |
| Basil, thyme or parsley - 2 tablespoons | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Arrange the ingredients.
MAKING
2) In a saucepan, heat the garlic pepper oil, add the ginger, onions, chili powder, and garlic, and cook until soft.
3) Stir in the beer, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, paprika, mustard, and herbs.
4) Boil the sauce and then simmer for some time.
5) Season with salt and pepper, taste to adjust the seasoning.
SERVING
6) Can be kept for several days in the refrigerator.
7) Serve the barbeque sauce with grilled meats and vegetables.
