Tarbert Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| New potatoes - 1 lb [500 g], cooked | ||
| Prawns - 4 oz [100 g] | ||
| Mayonnaise - 6 tablespoons [6X20 ml spoons] | ||
| Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoons [2 X 20 ml spoons] | ||
| Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon [1X5 ml spoon] | ||
| Parsley - as required, freshly chopped | ||
| Lettuce - as required | ||
| Cucumber - as required | ||
| Lemon | 1/4 , juiced | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice.
2) Dice the potatoes.
3) Add prawns and combine with the potatoes.
4) Add dressing to blend with the potato mixture.
SERVING
5) Line a plate with lettuce to pile the preparation. Garnish with parsley and cucumber, just before serving.
