Ingredients
Mushrooms - 1 can, drained, sliced
Thyme - 1/8 teaspoon
Butter OR Margarine - 1 tablespoon
Condensed Split Pea with Ham Soup - 1 can
Soup Can Water - 1 no
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, melt butter. Add in the mushrooms and thyme.
2) Saute till the mushrooms brown slightly.
3) Add in the condensed split pea with ham soup.
4) Slowly add in the soup can water. Mix well.
5) Continue heating, while stirring occasionally, till the soup is hot enough to serve.
SERVING
6) Serve the Tangy Split Pea Bowl in individual soup bowls, garnished with lemon slices or chopped parsley leaves.
