Ingredients

Refined flour – 2 cups

Baking powder -1/2 tsp

Baking soda – 2 pinches

Oil – 2 tbsp

Sugar – 1 tbsp

Water – as per quantity required

Salt – 2 pinches

1 tbsp butter

2 tbsp curd (yogurt) – unflavored

1 tbsp milk

Directions

Sieve all the dry ingredients together. Add in the sugar, butter, curd and milk. Make a dough with it adding water as required. Smear some oil on the dough and wrap in a damp cloth and keep aside. You can make 4-5 tandoori bread or rotis out of it. Make 4-5 balls out of the dough and roll out each of them into circles of approximately 6”. Stretch it slightly (ensuring that you do not make it too thin at any particular place). You could give it either a triangular or circular shape as you desire. Cook in a pre-heated tandoor or oven at 250 degrees. Cook till golden brown. You could serve it with any non-vegetarian or vegetable curry of your choice.
