Punjabi Tandoori Chicken Recipe
Tandoori Chicken has a great taste. Tandoori Chicken gets its taste from chicken marinated in yoghurt and garam masala. Tandoori Chicken is inspired by many restaurants around the world.

Ingredients
| Chicken | 800 Gram | |
| Yoghurt | 1 | |
| Garam masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red chilly paste 2 tbsp | ||
| Ginger paste | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic paste | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Butter as required for basting | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Onion rings as required | ||
| Lemon wedges as required | ||
| Coriander leaves as required | ||
Directions
Give fine incisions over the chicken and marinate with half of the lemon juice, red chilly powder and salt and keep for an hour.
Make a smooth paste of the beaten yoghurt and rest of the ingredients and apply to the chicken and refrigerate preferably overnight or at least for 4 hours.
Now pierce the chicken with a skewer and roast it in a hot clay oven or Tandooor on an open hot grill for about 12minutes or till the chicken is almost done.
Remove from fire.
Baste the chicken with butter and roast for another 3 minutes.
Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves, onion rings and lemon wedges.
