Tahitian Spareribs Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork spareribs - 3 pounds | ||
| Apricot-pineapple preserves - 1/2 cup | ||
| KIKKOMAN Teriyaki Sauce - 1/3 cup | ||
| Tomato catsup - 1/4 cup | ||
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Skin the ribs and cut into serving size pieces. You can ask you butcher to do this for you.
2. Preheat the oven to 300 °F
MAKING
3. Arrange the ribs on a rack in a roasting pan.
4. Place in the heated oven and bake for 1 hour.
5. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
6. When semi roasted, remove the ribs and drain the fat from the pan.
7. Remove the rack and arrange the ribs in the pan.
8. Glaze with the sauce.
9. Increase oven temperature to 350 °F
10. Return the oven and bake the ribs for another 1 to 11/2 hours, basting them frequently with the sauce.
SERVING
11. Serve the Tahitian Spareribs hot with additional sauce if you like.
