Authentic Mexican Tacos Recipe

 Lean ground beef1 pound

 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 12 taco shells
 Shredded Cheddar cheese1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion1 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped
 Lettuce3 Cup (16 tbs), shredded

Directions

1. Combine ground beef and green pepper in a 1 1/2 quart glass casserole. Cover. Microwave at Time Cook (power level 10) for 5 minutes, stirring once. Stir in tomato paste and seasonings. Cover. Microwave at Time Cook (power level 10) for 5 to 7 minutes, or until mixture bubbles, stirring once. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
2. Divide beef mixture between taco shells. Top first with grated cheese, then with tomato, onion, and lettuce.
