Taconny Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 well beaten egg
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 cup crushed rice crispies
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon soda
1 cup quick oats
Directions
Sift and measure flour.
Sift again with baking powder, soda and salt.
Combine this with rolled oats, rice crispies and blend.
Cream butter and sugar well, add well beaten eggs.
Put this mixture into the other and blend well.
Roll small portions into balls, put on well greased baking sheet about 2" apart and flatten with fork.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375° F.
Sift again with baking powder, soda and salt.
