Taco Salad Recipe
An introduction to this Taco Salad to your longing taste buds is going to keep them from asking for anything else for a long time to come. Trust me when I say, you have to try Taco Salad.

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 package (1 1/4 oz.) taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 head lettuce, torn into pieces
1 package (6 oz.) corn chips
3/4 cup (3 oz.) shredded Cheddar or American cheese
2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/3 cup chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Directions
In large skillet, brown meat and onion; drain fat.
Stir in dry taco seasoning mix and water; simmer 10 minutes over low heat.
Line separate salad owls or plates with lettuce; sprinkle with corn chips.
Mound about 1/2 cup beef mixture in center; sprinkle with cheese.
Garnish with tomatoes.
Serve immediately with combination of chili sauce and Tabasco sauce or with prepared French or Russian dressing.
TIPS:
If you don't have taco seasoning mix, add 1/2 cup chili sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce when adding water.

If necessary thin with additional water.
