Taco Salad With Tortilla Recipe
Ingredients
1-lb. lean ground beef
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 medium head lettuce, shredded
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
2 tomatoes, chopped
Bottled taco sauce
1 cup tortilla chips
Directions
Crumble ground beef in a 11/2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until cooked.
Stir twice during cooking.
Drain and crumble meat into small pieces.
Stir in tomato sauce and spices.
Cover and microwave 4 to 5 minutes or until bubbly.
Arrange shredded lettuce in large salad bowls.
Top each with meat sauce, cheese, onion and tomato.
Pour taco sauce over salad and garnish with tortilla chips
