Taco Salad Recipe
The taco salad is prepared with cooked and browned beef. Arranged with lettuce, avocados and kidney beans along with beef, the taco salad is sprinkled with tortilla chips and served with taco dressing.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef Salt and pepper to taste
1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
1 avocado, peeled and cut in small pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 17-ounce can kidney beans, drained
2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup broken tortilla chips
Directions
Brown ground beef thoroughly in skillet; add salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and cool.
Layer lettuce, avocado, onion, tomatoes, kidney beans, cheese and cooked beef in serving bowl.
Sprin-kle with tortilla chips.
Serve with Taco Dressing.
