Taco Meat Loaf Recipe
I made this Taco Meat Loaf last weekend when I had some unexpected guests-visit; believe me, it was dead simple and was a great hit too. In fact, the blend of beef, and cheese gives out a delightful combination, which is sure to make a bland meal go ravishing and unforgettable!
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 2 Pound | |
| Onion soup mix envelope | 1 | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| 1 (8 ounce) jar taco sauce | ||
| Tortilla chips package | 1 | |
| Ham | 8 Ounce, shaved | |
| Shredded monterey jack cheese package | 1 | |
| Shredded Cheddar cheese package | 1 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Combine the ground beef, onion soup mix, egg, 1/4 cup of the taco sauce, salt, pepper and a few crumbled tortilla chips in a bowl and mix well.
Spread half the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a loaf pan.
Layer the shaved ham, 1/4 cup of the Monterey Jack cheese, 1/4 cup of the Cheddar cheese and about 1/4 cup of the taco sauce over the ground beef layer.
Spread the remaining ground beef mixture over the taco sauce layer.
Press to make a loaf.
Top with the remaining taco sauce and cheeses.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown.
