Taco Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Taco seasoning mix package | 1 | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 Cup Coarsely Crushed Tortilla Chips | ||
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
1. Brown ground beef with onion in skillet. Drain.
2. Add seasoning mix and water to meat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 350° F.
4. Spread corn chips on bottom of 8- X 8-inch baking dish. Pour meat sauce evenly over chips. Sprinkle cheese and green pepper over meat.
5. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or long enough to melt cheese and heat through.
6. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
