Paatishapta Recipe
Paatishapta! I served this delicious dessert just last weekend for my family!. They loved it. Treat your family to the Paatishapta too!
Ingredients
Condensed milk - 1/2 tin
Maida - 1 cup
Rice - 4 tbsp, soaked
Soda bicarbonate - 1 pinch
Water - to make a thin batter
Ghee/oil - for frying
Fresh coconut - 1 1/2 cups, grated
Nuts and raisins, chopped (optional)
Directions
MAKING
1 In a bowl, mix condensed milk, coconut, nuts, and raisins evenly.
2 In another bowl, blend maida, rice flour, soda, and water to make a smooth batter.
3 In a frying pan, heat 1 tsp ghee.
4 Add 2 tbsp of batter in the heated pan.
5 Gently swirl the pan around to spread the batter evenly.
6 When the batter turns creamy brown, place a little coconut and condensed milk filling at one end.
7 Gently roll over the pancake to cover the filling.
8 Carefully remove from the pan and transfer to a plate.
SERVING
9 Serve at once.
