Taaja Kooto Athwa Ambar No Patio Recipe
Ingredients
| Shrimps | 500 Gram | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chilli powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tbsp cumin seeds, dry roasted and coarsely pounded | ||
| 1 cup Navsari vinegar | ||
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Sesame seed oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 4 Large (Chop:) | |
| 8-10 green chillies, seeded | ||
| Coriander leaves | 2 Tablespoon (Chop:) | |
| Ginger | 1 Inch (Chop:) | |
| Garlic | 8 Clove (5gm) (Chop:) | |
Directions
Wash shrimps well and remove all other small fish that may be mixed with it.
Drain and dry.
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till brown.
Add ginger, garlic, turmeric and chilli powder, cumin seeds, coriander and green chillies.
Saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add shrimps and fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes.
Add vinegar, salt and sugar.
Simmer for 4-6 minutes till liquid is almost dried.
Serve hot with rotli or hot toast.
This dish can be served at room temperature.
