Carrot Slices in Honey Recipe
Ingredients
| Carrots | 8 Large, sliced | |
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Salad oil | 4 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tsp. grated lemon rind | ||
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook carrots in boiling, salted water for 15 minutes.
Drain and add honey, sugar and oil.
Cook uncovered over low heat, stirring occasionally, until carrots are tender and richly glazed, about 20 minutes.
Stir in lemon rind and ginger.
