Ingredients

 Medium shrimp1 pound
 Soy sauce6 Tablespoon
 Dry sherry1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sesame oil1/2 Teaspoon
 Scallions2
 Gingerroot chunks- 2 (1 inch each), crushed
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Dried hot red pepper- 1 seeded and crushed
 Peanut oil1 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Start by cleaning the shrimps without removing the shells, also pull off the legs, slit the shell down the back, carefully lift out the black vein without loosening the shell and later rinse the shrimp quickly

MAKING
2. In a saucpan, combine the remaining ingredients except peanut oil and add the shrimp in the pan, stir it, chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours , stir occasionally
3. Once chilled, remove the shrimps from the marinade, dry the shrimps properly, also reserve the marinade once again

SERVING
4. Serve with salads or rice
