Szechuan Noodles Recipe
Szechuan Noodles is a delicious and easy to prepare dish. My family loves this spicy noodle dish and so I serve it quiet often. Cook a Szechuan Noodles in no time by following this recipe.
Ingredients
| 1 cup peeled shrimp chopped | ||
| Ham | 1 Ounce, shredded | |
| Celery stick | 1 , chopped | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup ground cooked pork | ||
| Peanut oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brandy | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chili Sauce | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken stock | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 lb dried egg, or home-made, noodles | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Mix together the prawns (shrimp), ham, celery and pork.
Heat the oil, add the pork mixture and fry, stirring, for 3-4 minutes.
Add the ginger, finely chopped, the brandy, sauces, cornflour (cornstarch), stock and seasoning.
Cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring constantly.
Keep hot.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender.
Drain and arrange on a serving plate; top with the sauce.
