Szechuan Prawns Recipe

Ingredients
| 500g prepared raw prawns | ||
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Red chilli | 1 Small, finely chopped | |
| Chilli sauce | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cornflour | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Chicken stock | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil, add prawns, boil for 1 minute then drain.
In a wok, heat oil, garlic and chilli and stir fry for 30 seconds.
Add chilli sauce and stir for 3 minutes.
In a small bowl mix together cornflour (cornstarch), stock, sugar and salt until smooth, then stir into the wok.
Bring to the boil, stirring, then simmer until sauce is thick.
Add prawns and gently heat through for about 2 minutes.
