Syllabub Recipe
Yummy Syllabub are super delicious and super easy to make. My children and I love having these Syllabub and so we find excuses to make these well loved dessert almost every week! Try the Syllabub for yourself!
Ingredients
2 oz. sugar
Juice of 1 large lemon rind and juice of 1/2 orange
6 tablespoons medium dry sherry
2 tablespoons brandy
10 fl. oz. double cream , beaten until thick
Directions
In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the sugar, lemon juice, orange rind and juice, sherry and brandy.
Gradually pour the cream into the bowl, beating constantly with a kitchen fork until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Cover the bowl and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and pour the syllabub into chilled individual serving dishes.
