Swiss Toast Recipe
Ingredients
| Bread slice | 4 | |
| Margarine | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled) | |
| Lean ham slices | 4 | |
| Chutney/Mayonnaise sauce | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled) | |
| Cheese slice | 4 | |
| Tomato slices | 4 | |
| Lettuce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Toast the bread lightly, spread with a little margarine.
Put ham on each piece of toast, spreading it lightly with chutney or Mayonnaise Sauce.
Top with a cheese slice and a slice of tomato.
Put into a moderately hot oven for 10 mins.
until cheese just starts to melt.
Serve at once with crisp lettuce.
