French- style green beans - 2 No. 300 cans
 
Butter or margarine - 4 tbsp
 
Flour - 2 tbsp
 
Salt - 1 tsp
 
Sugar - 1 tsp
 
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
 
Onion - 1/2 tsp, grated
 
Sour cream - 1 cup
 
Swiss or Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
 
Corn flakes - 1 cup, crushed

GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven

MAKING
2. Heat beans in bean liquid in saucepan; drain.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over low heat; stir in flour and seasonings until smooth. Add onion. Add sour cream gradually, stirring constantly. Simmer until heated through.
Add beans to sauce; mix well. Spoon bean mixture into greased baking dish; top with cheese and corn flakes. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
