Flour- 1/2 cup
Salt- 2 teaspoon
Pepper- to taste
Chuck Steak- 1no.
Tomato Soup- 2 cans
Garlic Powder- 1/4 teaspoon.
Bay Leaves- 1/4 teaspoon
Basil- 1 1/2 teaspoon
Celery Seed- 1 1/2 teaspoon
Parsley Flakes- 11/2 teaspoon.
Oregano- 1 1/2 teaspoons
Onion- 1 medium, chopped
Worcestershire Sauce- 2 tablespoon
Soy Sauce- 2 tablespoon
Mushroom Pieces- 1 cup
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350° F.
MAKING
2) In a bowl, mix together flour, salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
3) Roll the steak into flour mixture.
4) In a Dutch oven, heat fat and evenly brown the steak.
5) In a bowl, mix together soup, 11/2 teaspoons pepper and remaining ingredients,
6) Stream the soup mixture over the steak.
7) Put the lid and bake in the oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
SERVING
8) Serve the Swiss Steak Supreme hot with sautéed vegetables if desired.
