Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups sliced onions
6 hard cooked eggs, sliced
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 can (10 1/2 -ounces) condensed cream of chicken or cream of celery soup, undiluted
3/4 cup milk
Dash pepper
6 6 1/2 -inch thick slices
French bread, buttered
Directions
Combine butter and onion in (8 x 8-inch) baking dish.
Microwave 4 to 5 minutes on HIGH, or until onion is transparent.
Reserve 6 egg slices for garnish.
Top onion with remaining eggs, then cheese.
Mix soup, milk and pepper together in 2-cup measure.
Microwave 3 to 4 minutes on HIGH, or until hot.
Pour over eggs and cheese.
Top with bread slices, Microwave 4 to 6 minutes on HIGH, or until heated through.
