Swiss Cheese Pastry Morsels Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups finely shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 to 1 1/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour
Liverwurst spread
Deviled ham
Cocktail onions
Directions
Mix cheese and butter; blend in flour.
For each pastry morsel shape 1 teaspoon of the dough into a ball; set balls 1 inch apart on a baking sheet.
For liverwurst or deviled ham appetizers, make an indentation in center of each ball before baking and fill with 1/2 teaspoon of the spread or ham.
For onion appetizers, mold 1 teaspoon of the pastry dough around a cocktail onion covering it completely.
Bake at 400°F 15 minutes, or until golden.
