|Dry white table wine||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1 Dash|
|French bread cubes/Italian bread cubes||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1 Inch Cubes, Stale Variety)|

Heat gently, stirring occasionally, just until mixture, thickens and begins to bubble.
Remove garlic clove and discard.
Stir in kirsch.
Spear bread cubes on fondue forks and dunk bread into fondue.
Keep heat under fondue low to prevent coagulation of the cheese.
