Ingredients
1 1/2 cups pork and bacon sausage
8 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon dry mustard
3 cups milk
16 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
8 slices Swiss cheese
Directions
Brown the sausage in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Combine the eggs, mustard and milk in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with 8 slices of bread.
Layer the sausage, mushrooms, Swiss cheese and remaining bread slices over the bread.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top.
Chill, covered, for 12 to 24 hours.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
