Swiss-Style Oats Recipe

Ingredients

 
3 cups (720 ml) water
 
1 cup (240 ml) mixed dried fruit, chopped
 
1 tsp (5 ml) sea salt, optional
 
2 tbs (30 ml) honey
 
l 1/3 cups (320 ml) Oat Flakes (rolled oats)
 
2 tbs (30 ml) Wheat Germ
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

Bring water to a boil; stir in fruit, salt and honey.
Bring to boil again.
Add oats; stir; lower heat to simmer.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Stir before serving.
Sprinkle each serving with 1 1/2 tsp wheat germ and 1 tbs almonds.
