Swiss Stuffed Pears Recipe

 2 small pears, pared and stems removed
 Lemon juice
 2 ounces grated Swiss cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cut each pear in half lengthwise; using a melon-baller or small spoon remove and discard seeds.
Scoop out chunks of pear to create a hollow in each pear half; reserve chunks.
Rub pear halves with lemon juice and set aside.
In a small bowl combine pear chunks, 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice, and cheese.
Spoon 1/4 of mixture into each pear half; place stuffed pears in 8-inch square nonstick baking pan.
Cover pan with foil and bake 20 to 25 minutes; uncover and bake until cheese is lightly browned, about 5 minutes longer.
