Herbed Swiss Steak Recipe

My longing for swiss steak strengthened during high school days. This swiss steak is so tasty that I can not resist serving it as a side dish often. A delicious swiss steak gets its taste from beef. Not trying out this swiss steak after reading about it is one of the biggest crimes you could possibly imagine of committing.

Ingredients

 
1 onion, large, chopped
 
2-4 cloves garlic, minced
 
1 cup beef broth
 
1 cup red wine
 
1/2 tsp. each of rosemary, thyme, sage, basil, marjoram, and pepper

Directions

Cover and simmer 2 hours.
Remove meat and thicken remaining liquid for gravy.
