Swiss Steak Recipe

Ingredients
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp seasoning salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1 lb blade or round steak, boned
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1 onion, sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In a plate, combine flour, salt and pepper.
Dredge steak with mixture.
With a meat mallet, pound steak so seasoned flour will stick.
Set aside.
In a large skillet, heat oil.
Brown meat on both sides.
Degrease skillet.
In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients, except onion.
Pour over steak.
Add onion slices.
Cover.
Braise in oven 1 hour or until steak is tender.
