Swiss Lamb Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 loin lamb chops, cut 2 inches thick | ||
| Mushrooms | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Dry sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup grated Swiss cheese | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to broil.
Broil lamb chops about 10 minutes on each side for medium.
Meanwhile, saute mushrooms in butter, add sherry, and cook until sauce is slightly reduced.
Top each chop with a generous portion of the mushroom-sherry mixture, and heap grated cheese over all.
Place in a shallow broiler pan and broil 1 to 2 minutes more, or until cheese is melted.
