Swiss health cereal is a mixed oat and fruits breakfast cereal combo. Served with milk with yogurt and ground cinnamon as topping, the swiss health cereal is filling and nutritious along with a great taste.

Ingredients

 
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
 
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots, apples, or prunes or whole raisins
 
2 tablespoons chopped toasted almonds, pecans, or hazelnuts
 
2 tablespoons wheat germ
 
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
 
1 cup skim milk
 
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
 
Ground cinnamon to taste

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the oats, apricots, almonds, wheat germ, and brown sugar, and toss well to combine.
To serve, divide the cereal among 4 bowls and add 1/4 cup of the milk to each.
If you prefer crisp cereal, serve immediately; for soft cereal, let stand for 10 minutes.
Top with yogurt and dust with cinnamon.
