Ingredients

 Mayonnaise1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Ground nutmeg1/2 Teaspoon
 Dijon Mustard1 1/2 Teaspoon
 2 quarts torn romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves
 6 strips crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
 6 ounces Swiss cheese, cut into matchstick- size pieces
 Frozen peas package1 , thawed
 Red onion1 Small, thinly sliced
 Celery stalks2 , thinly sliced
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Combine mayonnaise, sugar, nutmeg, and mustard; set aside.
In a salad bowl, mix together lettuce, bacon (reserve 2 tablespoons), cheese, peas, onion, and celery.
Pour over dressing and toss gently to coat evenly.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Garnish with reserved bacon.
