Swiss Cheese Vegetable Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 12 ounces Swiss cheese, cut in matchstick-size pieces | ||
| 2 large green peppers, cut into thin, 2-inch-long strips | ||
| Green onions | 2 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Celery stalks | 3 , thinly sliced | |
| 3 or 4 carrots, shredded | ||
| 1 jar (4 oz.) sliced pimentos, drained | ||
| Almonds | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| 1 cup sour cream or unflavored yogurt | ||
| Dijon Mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 4 drops liquid hot pepper seasoning | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In a salad bowl, mix together cheese, peppers, onion, celery, carrots, pimentos, and almonds.
Combine sour cream, mustard, hot pepper seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste; blend well.
Pour over vegetables and toss to blend.
