Swiss Chard with Garlic Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| Swiss chard | 2 Pound, trimmed | |
| 2 tablespoons unsatted butter | ||
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Cut chard stems crosswise into 1/2-inch pieces. Cut chard leaves in half lengthwise; stack them and cut crosswise into 2-inch pieces.
2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, until just fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add chard stems; cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.
3. Add chard leaves in batches, tossing to coat; season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook, stirring once, until stems are tender and leaves are wilted,
4 to 5 minutes.
